It was a close game, but Chicago managed to win by 1 point! Got to love NBA JAM.
There are a few new games I have got in November/December of 2010 that I have not mentioned on my blog. A great year for the Wii and us europeans haven’t even received Kirby’s Epic Yarn yet. I have to admit I have neglected Xbox 360 and PS3 a bit, sorry big guys but Nintendo are the best.
Epic Mickey is a great adventure game full of nostagia and also a lot of new things that you didn’t know about Disney. Aside from a few camera issues, it’s one of the better platform/adventure games to grace the Wii.
Donkey Kong Country Returns, a gem. Retro Studios proves they fucking rule and make platform games as well as the Japanese. Like my friend Mr Perez said, if only Super Mario Galaxy 2 didn’t come out in 2010 we could give this game the title of game of the year.
Super Mario All-Stars is was it is. Every Wii owner should have this. Comes with a nice booklet and a half assed soundtrack (Nintendo never release soundtracks so I shouldn’t complain about this).
Wii Party is the Mario Party replacement which on Christmas Day proved to be the ultimate party game. Simple fun for everyone. 🙂
FlingSmash isn’t even worth mentioning but it comes with the new Wii MotionPlus remote.
NBA JAM. Best sports game. I didn’t know this would be as good as it is. I hope this game replaces Pro Evo amongst my friends so we could have tournaments in basketball (wishful thinking).
Mass Effect 2 I have not yet played as I’m still finishing the first one. I forgot how good Mass Effect is, diolouge is amazing, story is strong, frame rate and screen tearing is terrible. Hopefully the sequel fixes those problems.
Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep is a game I have been meaning to get since it’s release earlier last year. Won’t appeal to everyone, but I love it. I am amazed by sea life.
2011 looks promising for gaming. 3DS, Mortal Kombat, a bunch of games with 3 at the end. Bring it on…
